In constructing their works, Fitzpatrick and Milani share a common, intuitive process, in which industrial materials and form inadvertently coalescence to reveal spiritual truths. Through Fitzpatrick’s sculptural use of found material and Milani's painted wooden panels, these inexplicable truths manifest visually as geometric forms that appear certain and considered to the viewer. This visual impression works in direct contrast to the impulsive nature of the artist’s process. It is this conflict between appearance and reality that underpins the telephasic conversation and framework held between the artists and the world.
