The exhibition embeds these GIFs into physical space through digital photo frames, an MP4 player, and a curtain printed assemblage, as a means to examine digital folklore aesthetics and processes through customisation culture and the hallmark hardware of the early vernacular web. By navigating the increasingly obfuscated and recursive nature of online-offline space, she aims to question how it operates within a context of simulacra, hypersaturation, consumer culture and excess.
